Call For Papers – 9th Apc
Overview
The Union for African Population Studies is pleased to announce that submissions for abstracts are open for the 2024 African Population Conference. We invite submissions for research papers, assessments of best practices, proposals for workshops, posters and exhibitions across the sessions listed here.
Submissions should be made online at https://uaps2024.popconf.org.
All authors are asked to submit both:
- a short (150 word) abstract; and
- either an extended abstract (2-4 pages, including tables) or a completed paper to be uploaded to the website following instructions available online.
Authors may modify their submission online at any time until February 12, 2024
IMPORTANT DATES
January 19: Online submission of papers or extended abstracts opens
February 12: Deadline for submitting papers or abstracts
February 28: Authors are notified of papers accepted to regular sessions
March 15: Authors of posters and additional sessions are notified
March 25: Submission of final abstracts to be published in the Conference Programme
April 8: Submission of final papers to the conference website and to discussants and chairs
May 20: Conference begins
