Registration Information & Guidelines

About Fees

All participants including session organisers, chairs, discussants, chairs and presenters are required to pay the registration fee. The conference fee goes to support cover the cost of organising the conference and ensuring viable functioning of UAPS services and activities post conference. Some of the activities covered include:

Membership Status

UAPS members with unpaid dues as of 2022 will be registering under the category of Non-Members.UAPS members who would like to pay their dues prior to registering for the 9th APC should contact the UAPS secretariat regarding their membership fees and status.

Fees and deadlines

All fees are in US Dollars. For bank payment via Bank and Western Union, participants should pay the US Dollar equivalent of their currencies at the time of payment Participants should pay the US Dollar equivalent of their currencies at the time of payment. Participants will receive an email confirming registration once their fees have been received.

How to register

You can register for the conference by filling the online registration form then make payment using any of the payment options described below;

Online Payment:

Online Payment: Payments can be made online via the UAPS website using Direct Pay or Express pay.

Cards accepted: Visa, Visa/debit, MasterCard, MasterCard/debit, American Express (need to verify once payment options are confirmed) Only Cash (Malawi Kwacha, Euros, US Dollars and British Pounds) will be accepted on-site.

All local participants (resident in Malawi) should fill the registration form online and make payment to the National Organizing Team at AFIDEP using the bank details below:

Kindly ensure that you include the reference ‘UAPS’ when making payments.

International participants who choose this option should process the transfer to the UAPS Secretariat in Accra, Ghana and should verify corresponding bank charges to ensure their full registration fee is received. All proofs of payments/transfers should be sent immediately to the UAPS Secretariat via[email protected].

Terms and conditions

Cancellation Policy

Confirmed Registrations that are cancelled are subject to a Cancellation and No-Show Fee.

NB: All refunds shall be paid less bank processing charges and a $50 administration fee. No refunds are possible after March 31, 2024.
