Registration Information & Guidelines

About Fees

All participants including session organisers, chairs, discussants, chairs and presenters are required to pay the registration fee. The conference fee goes to support cover the cost of organising the conference and ensuring viable functioning of UAPS services and activities post conference. Some of the activities covered include:

  • Planning and coordinating logistical services for attendees (snacks, conference bags and badges, translation services
  • Managing the conference webpages, online registration software and process including pre, onsite and post conference work, as well and staffing to organise and manage conference activities.
  • Soliciting, managing and coordinating the exhibition and related programming.
  • Promoting the conference via media, website and documentation development and distribution.

Membership Status

UAPS members with unpaid dues as of 2022 will be registering under the category of Non-Members.UAPS members who would like to pay their dues prior to registering for the 9th APC should contact the UAPS secretariat regarding their membership fees and status.

Fees and deadlines

All fees are in US Dollars. For bank payment via Bank and Western Union, participants should pay the US Dollar equivalent of their currencies at the time of payment Participants should pay the US Dollar equivalent of their currencies at the time of payment. Online Payment:

Online Payment: Payments can be made online via the UAPS website using Direct Pay or Express pay.

Cards accepted: Visa, Visa/debit, MasterCard, MasterCard/debit, American Express (need to verify once payment options are confirmed) Only Cash (Malawi Kwacha, Euros, US Dollars and British Pounds) will be accepted on-site.

International participants who choose this option should process the transfer to the UAPS Secretariat in Accra, Ghana and should verify corresponding bank charges to ensure their full registration fee is received. All proofs of payments/transfers should be sent immediately to the UAPS Secretariat via9apc@uaps-uepa.org.

Terms and conditions

Cancellation Policy

Confirmed Registrations that are cancelled are subject to a Cancellation and No-Show Fee.

  • Cancellation before March 17, 2024 can claim full refund
  • Cancellation between 17 – 31 March 2024 can claim 50% refund

NB: All refunds shall be paid less bank processing charges and a $50 administration fee. No refunds are possible after March 31, 2024.
