We encourage all applicants who haven’t already joined the Union for African Population Studies to join today! UAPS is a pan-African non-profit-making scientific organization, which plays an important role in networking and coordination of population and development activities on the continent and provides avenues for researchers, policy makers, and other stakeholders to share research findings.

UAPS members receive free copies of its Journal of African Population Studies, a valuable instrument for promoting scientific discourse on population issues facing Africa and also get rebates on registration fees to all UAPS’ activities, including conferences, training workshops and seminars. Membership is open to all African and non-African scholars and professionals working on population and development in Africa. Annual membership fees cost US$40 for professionals and US$20 for students.
